Ingrid Siebert Associates have partnered with the Sit-Well Group, an innovative company involving specialist health-care professionals, posture seating assessors, health and safety experts and a specialist manufacturer that supplies products exclusively to the group.

POSTURE SEATING & DESKING ASSESSMENTS

Many clients have asked us to offer a Posture Seating & Desking assessment. Often this relates to members of staff who have a diagnosed musculoskeletal condition. We can quickly provide not only an assessment but a solution to the problem. This may require a change in your current seating and /or desking or simply educating the user in proper use of their current equipment.

Sit-Well Posture Seating & Desking Assessments are very popular as they incorporate either re-training on the existing equipment or a free trial of alternative equipment. This is our Fit-Well service which is an integral part of the assessment and offers fast same-day solutions. A report outlining our suggestions & actions will be submitted within 10 days; however this can be made available within 48 hours if required urgently. In the unlikely event that products left with you are deemed unsuitable, we will be happy to source other product on your behalf, but we believe there are substantial benefits to you when taking advantage of our Fit-Well service which is free and complimentary to our assessment services.

DSE WORKPLACE CLINICAL ASSESSMENTS

In partnership with over 300 chartered physiotherapists Sit-Well are pleased to offer our Advanced Clinical Ergonomic Assessments which are more formal in structure than our basic Posture Seating & Desking Assessments. These assessments are directly aimed at our clients who need to fulfil their obligations under the Health & Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations.

Access to this advanced level of expertise and support is becoming increasingly necessary with the year-on-year reported rise in DSE users suffering from musculoskeletal disorders and litigation claims against employers.

Our Chartered Physiotherapists possess a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of occupational musculoskeletal medicine and are experts in providing advanced ergonomic assessment services to clients throughout the UK, providing employers with workable solutions in the most complex cases.

Our assessment will review the following:

• The posture adopted by the individual at the workstation
• Any factors leading to poor posture/ergonomics or potential musculoskeletal stressors (medical information gathered will also be used, where appropriate)
• Rectification of these problems at the time of assessment where possible.
• Recommendations for changes that cannot be made at the time of assessment.

CUSTOMISED ORTHOPAEDIC SEATING MANUFACTURING

This unique integrated service allows Sit-Well to not only provide, high quality UK manufactured seating and specialist desking, but to identify and resolve challenging anatomical workplace issues.

Following a DSE report by a Sit-Well assessor providing us with the anthropometric & environmental data we require we will, when necessary, custom build a chair specifically for the user’s needs. Sit-Well have supplied seating, desking and workstation peripherals for many clients of all shapes and sizes who have not been able to source the appropriate products from generalist suppliers.

Having our own in-house orthopaedic seating manufacturer enables Sit-Well to offer an enviable solution driven service with a market leading flexibility. Each chair is handcrafted by skilled professionals in the UK and must meet a rigorous quality control inspection prior to dispatch.
